Use Google Search effectively. Start by searching for specific services followed by your city or zip code, such as "food banks near me" or "mental health services [your city]." Google Maps integration shows locations, hours, and contact information directly in search results. The majority of this information is available online.

For community assistance, try searching "[type of help] + community resources + [your location]" to find nonprofits, government agencies, and local organizations.

Check official city or county websites for comprehensive resource directories. Local libraries often maintain databases of available services.

Don't hesitate to call 2-1-1 or visit 211.org to connect with local health and human services in your area.

Dial 9-1-1 for all emergencies.
